I’ve spent over 25 years building and operating businesses in performance marketing. For the last several of those years, I’ve been deploying AI in live, revenue-generating environments long before it became a boardroom buzzword. As the Founder of OfferAxis, a pay-per-call agency I still operate today, I was an early adopter of AI-driven call routing, targeting, and lead qualification technology, using it to optimize campaigns and improve conversion rates at scale.
That hands-on experience led to a bigger realization: the same technology reshaping pay-per-call marketing could fundamentally change how small and mid-size service businesses operate day to day. How they answer the phone. How do they book jobs? How do they follow up with customers?
The options already out there were not cutting it. Most agencies and solopreneurs in this space were selling cookie-cutter chatbots, basic automations, and generic scripts with poor integration, little ongoing optimization, and few keeping pace with an AI landscape that evolves constantly.
