Roy Landers’ Background and Experience
Roy is a business, employment, and tax attorney with over 40 years of experience. He sat as a Judge Pro Tem within the California judicial court system. His background includes serving as an Economic Development Specialist for the National Urban League where he advised small business startups and counseled ongoing businesses.
These services included preparing business and marketing plans, obtaining business loans on behalf of small businesses, and assisting with, and obtaining local, state, and federal government certifications for minorities, women, veterans, and disabled businesspersons to qualify for and conduct business governmental agencies.
Roy has owned and operated successful small businesses, including restaurants, construction companies, e-commerce online businesses, and marketing agencies.
Roy is a California Credential College instructor who has taught in the California Community College system on the subjects of business law, insurance, and real estate.
Some of his work background involves employee development and support working as a human resources Employee Development Specialist for Honeywell International Inc., an Accountant for Solar Turbines, a division of Caterpillar, and Executive Director of the Black Federation of San Diego County California.
He owned and operated construction firms and held a California General Engineering License (“A” License Designation) for several years.
He also held licenses as a real estate broker and insurance agent for over 20 years before reducing his activities and moving more into ministry.
He is an ordained minister and has served in a ministerial capacity for more than 40 years, including being an associate minister, associate pastor, and church administrator, and currently serves as a “Pastor to Seniors” at a major church within the City of Menifee, CA.
He attended Bethel Seminary and prepared and presented lectures on the Bible and the law. He is a graduate of Liberty University Seminary school with a graduate certificate in Christian Leadership.
Roy has established a ministry, “The Bible and Business Ministries,” where he concentrates on teaching “Biblical Principles for Business Success.” The ministry is designed to seek, educate, equip, and support Christian business owners and aspiring Christian business owners and bridge the gap between the Bible and Business and teach God’s principles for starting, maintaining, and sustaining a business and the blessings that come from such application.

He is currently an investor and funds business startups with access to capital. He consults with existing businesses to help them scale up their growth 3X or more and position themselves to leave a legacy business or exit by selling the business 10X or more than its value.
Roy also concentrates on mergers and acquisitions of businesses where he and his team purchase ongoing business concerns that meet certain criteria of his investment team.
His educational background includes an associate degree in business (San Diego City College), a bachelor’s degree in business and law (Western State University) a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and a master’s in taxation law (University of San Diego School of Law). He is a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT) with counseling experience involving holistic applications for addressing mental and emotional distress, self-development, managing and overcoming fear, and related matters.
